Stansted Lodge Elsenham

lovely little place for short stay. the breakfast was excellent and the location was ideal. location just off train station, aiport, and london stansted. also, near stanstead airport.

Everything is amazing, we greatly enjoyed this hotel. The staff are amazingly kind, giving their best to make the stay a wonderful experience. The property has charming little and functional rooms complete with a shared bathroom, own shower, comfy...  

Bring your own snacks, as the self-serve kitchen has a great selection of cereals and homemade cakes for a late-night treat.

Sensational breakfast served with good food. Comfortable bed in the family room, plus a kitchen area, tea and coffee, and a kettle.

The location was marvellous, relatively close to Elsenham Golf Centre. Single room with a freeview TV, en-suite bathroom, as for instance accommodated us perfectly. The staff that checked us in was consistently courteous. ...  

I had a great time, especially loved the freshly baked cakes in the kitchen and the comfy bed that made me sleep like a log! The iron and hairdryer in the kitchen were a nice touch too. Would definitely return!

I needed a quick stop before my flight and was pleasantly surprised by how clean and cozy my room was. The little kitchen was stocked with free snacks and drinks, which was a lovely touch. The peaceful garden was perfect for unwinding, and I really appreciated the handy microwave for my late-night snack. Just a heads up, the walls are a bit thin, so maybe grab some earplugs if you're a light sleeper! 😊

Charming stay with good hospitality

I recently enjoyed a lovely night at a quaint lodge, where the cute host. The shared kitchen was a delight, offering homemade treats and a tranquil garden to unwind. The room was cozy and charming, although a bit dated. A revamped menu or dining options nearby would enhance the experience further.

It was just a top selection for a weekend stopover in Elsenham with good value for money. The bus service to the airport was a lifesaver and much cheaper than a taxi. Just be sure to check the bus schedules yourself to avoid any hassles.

The room was cozy and very clean, definitely exceeded my expectations. Self check-in process was straightforward, but I encountered a hiccup with the code initially. Candy was super responsive and made everything easier. The kitchen had a nice selection of cereals and homemade cakes, a lovely surprise at 3 am before my flight. Access to tea and coffee in the room was a great touch. Hearing some noise from the bathroom fan was slightly distracting, but it didn't ruin my experience. Shower pressure fluctuated a bit, a minor inconvenience but manageable. This place is perfect for a quick stopover before traveling.
